✅ Use this checklist before every interview to feel prepared and confident.


The Day Before

  • Review the job description
  • Research the company (website, mission, news, values)
  • Look up your interviewer(s) on LinkedIn (if applicable)
  • Prepare answers to common questions
  • Prepare 2–3 questions to ask the interviewer
  • Confirm time and location (or video link)
  • Print your resume (if in-person) or have it open (if virtual)
  • Choose your outfit (professional & appropriate)

Day of the Interview

  • Eat a light meal
  • Charge your device (laptop/phone)
  • Log in or arrive 10–15 minutes early
  • Test your internet, camera, and mic (if virtual)
  • Bring a pen and notebook
  • Take a few deep breaths to stay calm
  • Smile, speak clearly, and stay positive

After the Interview

  • Write down how it went (for future reference)
  • Send a thank-you email within 24 hours
  • Follow up in 7–10 days if you haven’t heard back
