The Day Before
- Review the job description
- Research the company (website, mission, news, values)
- Look up your interviewer(s) on LinkedIn (if applicable)
- Prepare answers to common questions
- Prepare 2–3 questions to ask the interviewer
- Confirm time and location (or video link)
- Print your resume (if in-person) or have it open (if virtual)
- Choose your outfit (professional & appropriate)
Day of the Interview
- Eat a light meal
- Charge your device (laptop/phone)
- Log in or arrive 10–15 minutes early
- Test your internet, camera, and mic (if virtual)
- Bring a pen and notebook
- Take a few deep breaths to stay calm
- Smile, speak clearly, and stay positive
After the Interview
- Write down how it went (for future reference)
- Send a thank-you email within 24 hours
- Follow up in 7–10 days if you haven’t heard back
